Center Field Politics uses public and openly licensed materials. This page credits the sources of the photographs, ratings, and assets we rely on, and links each to its origin so you can verify its license. If you believe anything here is miscredited, please tell us through the corrections process.

Official photographs

Headshots are downloaded from the providers below only after their license is resolved; images whose license cannot be confirmed are not published. Congressional portraits from the U.S. Congress Biographical Directory are public-domain U.S. Government works. Wikimedia Commons photos retain their individual licenses and authors, credited here where attribution is required.

Media-bias ratings

Media-bias bands shown on cards are editorial classifications informed by independent raters. Their names and ratings are the property of the respective raters and are referenced for identification; consult each rater directly for its authoritative rating:

Underlying facts are drawn from public and third-party sources including the FEC, Congress.gov, GovTrack, state ethics and election agencies, Ballotpedia, OpenSecrets, and news organizations. See the methodology for source tiers and how each is used. Names of officials, outlets, and agencies are used for identification only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
