May 19 primary with June 16 runoffs. U.S. Senate: Rep. Mike Collins (R) won the Republican runoff to challenge incumbent Jon Ossoff (D), who won the Democratic nomination. Governor (open seat; Gov. Brian Kemp is term-limited): Rick Jackson (R) upset Lt. Gov. Burt Jones in the Republican runoff, and former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) won the Democratic nomination.
